ARexx versie van het SendMail programma.
An ARexx program which takes an Internet (RFC822) formatted note and creates
the necessary work files for an SMTP client to deliver the original note. This
program is primarily intended for use with AmigaELM, but may also work
elsewhere.
It uses an ARexx cliplist (built by the user) to insert an MX host for given
target hosts. It allows for carbon copies, blind carbon copies, multiple
recipient targets in a single line or over several lines, and it keeps a one
line log file entry for every note processed.
Note (9 Jan 95): this upload includes this simplified "readme" and a proper
dummy remote mail host which the user must supply.

This is just a little program to use with the INetUtils for AmiTCP/AS225,
especially for your SMTPSpool directory. The program will monitor all queued
files within the SMTPSpool directory and display the number of messages in a
small window, you may position somewhere on your Workbench. As soon as a
message is queued/deleted, the information will be updated.

Fixed since Version 37.0 (Yep, even a small program may have bugs ;)
- Added new ONLYWB option, whichs causes the program
to only open it`s window, on Workbench
- MailQueue wasn`t really pure, as it used to set up LibBases
as globals (well, technically wasn`t pure ;)). Changed.

- Added ZEROCLOSE option to hide the Queue window when no messages are

Post News offline with AmiTCP&INetUtils.
INetUtils is a package available from AmiNet by Michael B. Smith
which includes the ability to post network news. Unfortunately
you need to be online in order to post news. PostNewsSpool is
a spooling system that will allow you to post news whilst offline
and then send the news to your NNTP server when you are next
online.

Laat Amiga dingen doen door mail te sturen.
Mailserver allows users access to files in public directories on your hard
disk, by sending simple e-mail commands such as GET, CD, DIR, PARENT, etc, in
the same way you might send e-mail commands to an ftp-mail server.
Users can access all subdirectories of your main public directory, which you
can assign anywhere you want (even CD0: if you have a CD-ROM drive.) Binary
files can be automatically uuencoded before being sent out if you have Asher
Feldman's UUxT uuencoder.
Mailserver also allows you to define you own 'external' commands, which make it
possible to run virtually any program or script by e-mail command.
Mailserver has only be tested with AmiTCP 3.0b, but it should be possible to
get it working with most mail systems quite easily.

NNTP News Daemon voor AmiTCP 4.0+.
NNTPd is a program that is used by AmiTCP, and is called whenever a
connection to port 119 is made. It is compliant with RFC 977 (included)
and thus should work well with NNTPxfer and other NNTP news transport
programs.
At this time, NNTPd only can send out news. It cannot receive posted
news articles yet, but I am working on it. This program might be
valuable to you if, for instance, you receive news VIA NNTPxfer or
NNTPget, and then a bunch of other people get it from you. Now they
can use NNTPxfer to get news from your system.

mpack/munpack version 1.2
Mpack and munpack are utilities for encoding and decoding
(respectively) binary files in MIME (Multipurpose Internet Mail
Extensions) format mail messages. For compabibility with older forms
of transferring binary files, the munpack program can also decode
messages in split-uuencoded format.
This MIME implementation is intended to be as simple and portable as
possible. For a slightly more sophisticated MIME implementation, see
the program MetaMail, available via anonymous FTP to
thumper.bellcore.com, in directory pub/nsb

NetIdSMTP has the ability to send messages from a spooled SMail file
or similar. When the messages are transfered the From, Return-View-To,
and Return-Receipt-To: lines are changed to a configured address. This
is perfect for those people who have PopMail accounts or want their mail
returned to a different address.

Gadtools Usenet News reader.
GRn is Gadtools Read News, a Gadtools-based newsreader for the Amiga, running
Release 2.0 or above. Some special features are available on higher releases.
GRn supports locally stored news (via AmigaUUCP, C News, or NNTPxfer) and NNTP
in a variety of ways (AS225r2, AmiTCP 2.2 or above, DNet, AUW and direct
connection via serial.device or serial clone).
GRn 2.1a only has a single difference over GRn 2.1 -- it supports AmiTCP 4.0+.
Thanks go to Jarno Tapio Rajahalme , for providing the
requisite fix.
GRn 3.0 will be available commercially early in 1995.
GRn 2.1 is an update to GRn 2.0. Several new features have been added, and
several bugs have been fixed. Refer to GRn.guide for detailed information on
operating GRn. The file INSTALL tells you how to install GRn (sorry, Installer
script didn't happen).
Significant changes between GRn 2.0 and GRn 2.1:

+ The last article in a newsgroup may be marked as unread.
+ On v39 and above, mouse and keyboard movements are dealt with

+ The HOSTNAME argument is no longer treated as a synonym for the

This AREXX script provides an easy way to set message headers in GRn
without having to move up to the headers section in your editor and typing
them manually. It also lets you automatically change a "From:" header that
is in error (such as what may occur if you are using TIA).

This is a BETA version of TIN, which has NNTP enabled. It is based on TIN 1.2
PL3 Beta. The source code was never made public for this release, however I
have found this release to be much more stable and contains a lot of fixes over
TIN 1.2 PL 2. Make sure bug reports are directed at me, and not at Iain Lea
(the maintainer of the UNIX version). This shouldn't be a problem, since the
bug-report feature in TIN is set to send mail to me by default. Included in

This is a simple ARexx script I wrote a while ago for use with an INetUtils
setup. When someone sends email to your machine (from SMTPd), it may be
delivered to any userid. I created this program to automatically bounce any
unknown userid's to "root" since it could go un-noticed for several days on my
machine.
You will need: ARexx, Elm, INetUtils, some CRON utility or Sabot.

Gatewayprogramma tussen Fidonet en AmigaUUCP.
Basically AmiGate will convert your UUCP news/emails into FidoNet
echomail/netmail and the other way around. That's it.
Short feature list:

o Fully FidoNet FTS/FSC compliant.
o Direct support for DLG user.data.
o Mailing list -> Echomail conversion.
o Crossposting can be ignored (Eg. only posted to the first matching area.)
o MIME-support (also for quoted-printable).
o Will not post to moderated areas but instead send email to moderator.
o FidoNet bouncing. Will inform sender if something goes wrong.
o Optional accounting for emails.
o Total customization of how to port the headers in UUCP messages.
Even if you don't have a FidoNet address, using it together with Spot (a very
nice FidoNet editor by Nico Francois) is much more pleasing than using the mail
and news readers available on the Amiga. (Please note that this is my personal
opinion ;-)

o Kickstart 37.175 or higher.
o AmigaUUCP v1.17 or higher. 1.16 will work but generates dubious headers.
