This is version 2.4 of the AmiQWK II QWKMail reader. It fixes the work
directory bug in version 2.3
AmiQWK II is a QWKMail format offline message reader for the Commodore
Amiga line of personal computers. AmiQWK II is compatable with message
packets generated by any message packer using the QWKMail format. AmiQWK
has been tested with packets from the MarkMail and RoseMail doors for
PCBoard BBS (IBM), the TomCat door for WildCat BBS (IBM), MailRoom and
DLGQWK doors for DLG Pro BB/OS (Amiga), the internal QWK bundler in
Excelsior! BBS (Amiga) and QWKMail packets from many other BBSes.

This is version 1.19 of AVM, a voicemail program
that supports ZyXEL, LineLink, Dolphin modems,
and Rockwell modems (beta). Note, although Supras
are Rockwell modems, they are not supported yet --
Supra Corp has to release ROMs capable of voice on
non-Macintosh computers first.
It can work in conjunction with GPFax and AXsh
(other fax programs or BBSes may be substituted with
some ARexx programming) to provide voice, fax, and
data, all on one line.
This version is a rewrite of ZVM and it requires
MUI 1.4 or greater (it is known to work on MUI 2.0).
It supports multiple lines (if you have multiple
modems of the same type). You can use AVM as a
simple answering machine or use it to provide
multiple mailboxes. It can play different "intro"
messages depending on the time of day, day of
week, random, or manual selection. You can retrieve
your messages remotely, etc. The caller can
be told of a forwarding number when he enters
a particular mailbox. There are many enhancements
since 1.11a was released.
This version contains the AVM Programmer and the
AVM Scheduler. They are demo versions only, but
will show you what these programs are like.
To reduce setup time, I highly recommend that you
also get the pre-recorded English voice files. When
they are available, they will be called
AVMVEng1.19.lha and will most likely be in the
same directory as this file is in.

`phonebill' is, simply said, a log file analyzer. What it basically
does is scan log file(s) generated by a terminal program or a mailer,
extract all information about calls you have made by using your modem,
and store this in its own (short) format. After extracting the calls
`phonebill' can generate various reports in which you can find
information on duration and costs of the calls.
Here is a small list of the main features:

certain days and dates. Handles fees and time units with up to 9
decimals (e.g. $1.2344657 dollars per 30.225678 seconds).

MtA is actually the best Videotext emulation program available for Commodore
Amiga (tm). The complete emulation of Prestel, Teletel and TTY (Ascii) support,

This archive contains all you need to run `term' on an Amiga equipped with an
MC68020/030/040/060 CPU. Only the basic set of libraries and documentation
files are included. If you wish to use other external transfer transfer
protocol libraries than xprzmodem.library or need to use special external
terminal emulation libraries you should download the term-4.3-libs.lha
archive. More documentation files can be found in the term-4.3-doc.lha
archive.

This archive contains extra material that is not absolutely necessary to run
`term' v4.3, but may still either be fun to have around or adds extra
functionality. Included are revision 5 of the Hydracom Amiga port which can be
used with `term' (note: Hydracom is a bidirectional file transfer
protocol similar to bimodem), sample ARexx scripts, character translation
tables and sound files.

Class-2. Some bug-fixes and enhancements over 1.41. AmigaFax is a full-featured
package that allows creation, transmission and reception of faxes using one or
more Class-2 or Class-2.0 FaxModems. Is is compatible withh AmigaUUCP and
TransAmiga BBS, and can be simply configured to forward faxes to other fax
machines or printers. Includes Fax Printer-Driver to capture graphics printout
into fax form, fax spooler, etc.
